Shipping cost from the USA
- How shipping cost is calculatedn
The shipping service rate is calculated based on the greater value: the actual or dimensional weight* of the parcel.
The dimensional weight of a parcel is calculated based on the parcel's dimensions.
Calculation formula:
* Dimensional weight (kg) = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 4 000

- How declared value and invoice value affect shipping cost
Declared value is the amount the company will pay in the event of loss or damage to the parcel.
Invoice value is the value of the international parcel's contents. The invoice value must match the actual market price indicated in the receipt or invoice.
Invoice value is used for customs clearance, as well as for paying compensation in the event of loss or damage to the parcel.Provide the real market value of the item. If the valuation is overstated, customs may provide their own assessment and charge customs duties, and the company may request supporting documents to pay compensation.
If the declared value or invoice value of the parcel exceeds $200, a fee of 0.5% of the parcel value is added to the shipping rate.
Calculation example:
Coffee maker
Value $5
The fee is already included in the shipping rateBuilding set
Value $230
Fee: $230 × 0.5% = $1.15
