Who pays

Permissible cargo parameters

• Weight: up to 1 000 kg
• Length: up to 300 cm
• Height/Width: up to 170 cm, including packaging
• Invoiced value: up to €10 000

Customs clearance in Ukraine

Example of calculation of the customs duty for consignments with an invoice value of more than €150

The product costs €200. Customs duties will be as follows:

• Import duty = (€200 - €150) х 10% = €5
• VAT = (€200 - €150 + €5) х 20% = €11

Total tax payable: €5 + €11 = €16

This can happen if a customs officer detects a breach of the rules:

• The shipment's contents differ from the list specified in the declaration
• The invoiced value differs from the real value.
• The parcel contains goods that are not accepted for transportation
• The recipient has already received international shipments with a total invoiced value of more than €150, during the last month.

How to send from the branch

   Prepare your items and make sure the shipment's contents are allowed to ship.

   Provide information about the sender and recipient. To do so, write in Latin:

   • Surname
   • Name
   • Email
   • Phone number
   • Branch number or full address of the recipient in Ukraine

   Visit the nearest Nova post branch.

   Hand over the shipment to the branch operator in an open form.
   
   In accordance with the requirements of international transportation, Nova Post employees have to check the contents for goods that are not accepted for transportation.
   
   If the shipment is packaged, the operator must open it. Original packaging is an exception.

   Pay for delivery.
