Update for delivery rates to Moldova and Romania since January 19, 2026
Dear customer!
We would like to inform you that, since January 19, 2026, Nova Global will recalculate its international delivery rates to Moldova and Romania.
The changes are due to increased service costs from our partner contractors and updated regulatory requirements in the destination countries.
Special attention regarding deliveries to Romania: For shipments to Romania originating from outside the European Union, an additional mandatory logistics fee per each shipment applies to the service cost, in accordance with current Romanian legislation. Consequently, an additional fee of 5 euros, payable by the customer (sender), will be charged for each shipment.
From January 1, 2026, following the implementation of the Romanian logistics fee, these costs were covered by our company, particularly to ensure stable service operation during the holiday season. Starting from the repricing date, this surcharge will apply directly to customer shipments.
The updated rates and conditions will be available on the official website from their effective date.
You can place orders for Global Freight Flex (export) shipments at any time via the NOVA GLOBAL business account: https://my.nova.global.
You also have the option to track the delivery status of your shipment 24/7 via this link: https://novaposhtaglobal.ua/track/.
Who Pays for the Delivery
- Delivery
Sender in another country
- Customs duties and customs brokerage services
Recipient in Romania
After the delivery, we will send the recipient a message by SMS, Viber or email on parcel registration and payments.
Parcel customs clearance
- Invoice value of the parcel: up to €45
No taxes are charged
- Invoice value of the parcel: €45–150
VAT: 21% of the invoice value of the postal item.
For example, the goods cost €100. The recipient needs to additionally pay VAT: €100 × 21% = €21 - Invoice value of the parcel exceeds €150
- Import duty: up to 18% of the invoice value, depending on the type of goods
- VAT: 21% of the invoice value of the shipment (invoice value + import duty)
Calculation example
The goods cost €300. The total customs payments will be:
- Import duty = €300 × 10% = €30
- VAT = (€300 + €30) × 21% = €69,3
The recipient needs to pay the following tax: €30 + €69,3 = €99,3
This may occur if a customs officer finds a violation:
- the postal item content differs from the list indicated in the declaration
- the invoice value differs from the actual one
- the parcel contains goods that are not accepted for transportation.
