Update for delivery rates to Moldova and Romania since January 19, 2026
Dear customer!
We would like to inform you that, since January 19, 2026, Nova Global will recalculate its international delivery rates to Moldova and Romania.
The changes are due to increased service costs from our partner contractors and updated regulatory requirements in the destination countries.
Special attention regarding deliveries to Romania: For shipments to Romania originating from outside the European Union, an additional mandatory logistics fee per each shipment applies to the service cost, in accordance with current Romanian legislation. Consequently, an additional fee of 5 euros, payable by the customer (sender), will be charged for each shipment.
From January 1, 2026, following the implementation of the Romanian logistics fee, these costs were covered by our company, particularly to ensure stable service operation during the holiday season. Starting from the repricing date, this surcharge will apply directly to customer shipments.
The updated rates and conditions will be available on the official website from their effective date.
You can place orders for Global Freight Flex (export) shipments at any time via the NOVA GLOBAL business account: https://my.nova.global.
You also have the option to track the delivery status of your shipment 24/7 via this link: https://novaposhtaglobal.ua/track/.
Who Pays for the Delivery
- Delivery
Sender in another country
- Customs duties and customs brokerage services
After the delivery, we will send the recipient a message by SMS, Viber or email on parcel registration and payments.
Customs payments for recipients of parcels from abroad
If you are receiving a parcel from a country outside the EU, customs duty accrual rules will apply.
- Orders from online stores
- Fixed duty: €3 per unique HS code in the parcel
- VAT: 21% for parcels with a customs value exceeding €45
- Import duty: from 0% to 18% for parcels with an invoiced value exceeding €150
- Personal shipment from abroad
A broker fee may be added to the customs payments.
- What is "customs value" and "invoiced value"?
If the parcel value exceeds €150, the parcel will be cleared through customs only after the recipient's consent. If the recipient refuses customs clearance, we will return the parcel to the sender.
This can happen if a customs officer detects a breach of the rules:
- The contents of the parcel differ from the list specified in the declaration
- The invoice value differs from the real one
Payment of accrued customs duties
- Orders from online stores outside the EU
- If the seller is registered in the IOSS system, customs duties may be calculated and paid at the time of ordering.
- Otherwise, customs duties will be accrued at the customs office in the destination country. Payment of customs duties is mandatory for receiving the parcel.
- Personal shipment from abroad
Once customs duties have been accrued by the customs office, we will notify the recipient and send a payment link via:
- The mobile app
- SMS notification
- Email
Payment methods for customs duties
