Transfer funds with the RIA system, one of the world's leading money transfer systems for individuals.

Since February 24, 2022, the NBU has prohibited international money transfers from Ukraine. However, Nova Post still allows you to receive a money transfer from abroad in Ukraine.

How to send money from abroad

You can make a transfer through the RIA's mobile app and website. You can also go to any RIA branch or its partners abroad.

Do the following at the RIA branch:

    Present your passport to the cashier and provide your personal details:

    Provide the recipient's details:

      Country of receiving the transfer

    Pay the transfer fee.

    Inform the recipient of the transfer control number.

How to get a money transfer in Ukraine

    Select the Nova Post branch with a NovaPay point.
  2. 2
    Tell the cashier the transfer control number. The number must be provided by the sender of the transfer.

    Provide documents proving your identity.
  4. 4
    Receive the transfer after verifying the data.

Documents that may be provided to prove your identity

For Ukrainian residents:

    Passport of a citizen of Ukraine
  • 2
    Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad: without a stamp of permanent residence abroad
  • 3
    Temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine
  • 4
    Permanent residence permit in Ukraine
  • 5
    Refugee certificate issued in Ukraine
  • 6
    Supplementary protection certificate

For a non-resident of Ukraine:

    Temporary residence permit: either on paper or an ID card
  • 2
    Passport of a citizen of a foreign state
  • 3
    Certificate of a person granted temporary protection in Ukraine
  • 4
    Diplomatic passport of a foreign citizen

Due time for funds to be withdrawn

1 business day if the transfer was received from abroad without opening an account.

The funds are returned to the sender if the recipient does not appear to receive the transfer within 21 calendar days.


Service restrictions and conditions

    Transfers are only paid out in UAH.
  • 2
    The payment amount should not exceed 399,999 UAH.
  • 3
    Transfers from abroad are made in the currencies available in the RIA system: mainly in euros and dollars.
  • 4
    The information on the transfer and the payment rate in UAH is set internally and communicated to the sender at the time of the transfer.
  • 5
    You cannot receive a transfer from Belarus and Russia at Nova Post branches. To get a refund, the sender must revoke the transfer.
