How to call a courier in Romania
1. Prepare the items to be sent and pack them into the box. We have prepared a short guide for you at the link: how to pack a parcel properly.
2. Fill out an application for a courier pickup:
■ on the Nova Post website
■ in the mobile application
■ in your personal account
3. Fill out the invoice in the application: describe the contents of the shipment, the estimated or market value of each item.
4. Pay for the order online.
5. You will receive an email confirming your registration, payment and the courier's arrival date.
6. Hand over the shipment in closed form to the courier. The courier will print and stick a label on your box.

Advantages
Important information on postal item customs clearance in Ukraine
- Parcel value: up to €150
No additional taxes are applied to parcels containing gifts, goods or personal items
- Parcel value: over €150
- 1Import duty: 10% of the amount in excess of €150
- 2VAT: 20% of the delivery cost (in excess of €150 + import duty)
Calculation example:
The goods cost €200. The total customs payments will be:
- 1import duty = (€200 - €150) × 10 % = €5
- 2VAT = (€200 - €150 + €5) × 20% = €11
Total tax charged: €5 + €11 = €16
Examples of declared value calculation for deliveries to Ukraine
EXAMPLE 1
I am sending my sister a jacket, a portable speaker and her driving license.
The jacket costs €50, and the portable speaker costs €35. The total price is €85.

I am selling clothes to a buyer in Ukraine.
All the items are new, have price tags on, and factory packing is intact. The total price is under €150.
