Important Information on Customs Duties and Import VAT
Dear customers,
Please note that, in accordance with the customs regulations of the European Union and Germany, customs duties and taxes may apply when sending parcels from Ukraine – depending on the declared value of the shipment:
- Parcels valued over €45
- According to Article 77 of Regulation (EU) No. 952/2013 (EU Customs Code) and Section 21a of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG), the recipient is obliged to pay import VAT at the applicable rates.
- Parcels valued over €150
- Under the EU customs tariff, goods with a value exceeding €150 are subject to customs clearance, including:
- Customs duties based on EU tariff rates;
- Import VAT of 19% (or 7% for certain product categories).
If you purchase goods in Ukraine, customs duties and import VAT may apply starting from a product value of €0.01.
