Customs declaration for parcels held at customs
Do you have a parcel that requires customs declaration?
Order Nova Post broker services now – simply fill in the online form and we will handle the customs clearance process for you.
IMPORTANT: After the analysis, BY THE CUSTOMS SERVICE, of the data provided in the form, the Nova Post broker will contact the client and inform them whether the customs clearance procedure is required.
If customs clearance is required, the client has the right to freely choose the method of its execution: either through any customs broker (including the Nova Post broker), or by carrying out the procedure independently on the Public Customs Portal, using an electronic signature.
Nova Post does not assume responsibility for the decisions, deadlines, or any potential costs established by the Customs Service, as these are determined exclusively by the competent customs authorities.

Key legislative regulations
Starting from January 1, 2024, new rules on the clearance of international postal parcels came into effect.
- Duty-free exemption for parcels under €150
According to Article 219 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Moldova, parcels with a declared value of up to €150 are exempt from customs duties.
- Parcels sent between individuals
According to Article 221 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Moldova, goods sent by one individual to another may be exempt from customs duties only if all legal conditions are met.
- Mandatory H6 electronic declaration (from August 1, 2024)
For parcels valued up to €1000, individuals must submit the H6 electronic customs declaration. This can be done:
- Through a broker (for a service fee)
- Customs clearance of identical goods
If within 7 days you receive multiple parcels with identical goods:
- Starting from the second parcel, all are subject to customs clearance regardless of value.
- If several parcels arrive on the same day, they will all be subject to customs clearance.
