  • Delivery cost calculation

    • A higher value of actual or volumetric weight is used to determine the rate
    • Volumetric weight (kg) = length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 5 000

  • Commission on declared value

    • 0.5% of the declared value over 500 lei

Delivery is paid by the sender or recipient

  • When sending from the branch

    • by card or cash at a branch
    • by card in the mobile application or website

  • When sending from the address

    • by card in the mobile application or website
    • cash to courier

The sender pays the return shipping if the recipient rejects the package and returns it.

Refusal will also be considered in situations where:

  • the recipient was not present at the time of delivery
  • the recipient could not be contacted to receive the shipment
  • contact information was incorrect
  • the storage term at the branch has expired.

Returns will be charged according to the general shipping tariffs.

How to send a parcel

  • from a branch

      Select the nearest Nova Post branch in your city.
    2. 2
      Create a shipment request with the operator or online before visiting the branch: in the mobile application or on the website. Provide the operator with the waybill number if the parcel was created online.

      Pay for the delivery and selected additional services, and hand the parcel over to the operator.

      Fill in the delivery request from the address via the website or mobile application.
    2. 2
      Pay for the delivery service.
    3. 3
      Wait for notification of the courier's arrival date and make sure you will be at the specified address on that day. Find out more about the courier's work schedule.

      Pack the parcel in advance according to the packing standards and make sure that its actual or volumetric weight does not exceed 30 kg.
    5. 5
      Hand the parcel over to the courier. Nova Post couriers will come to pick up the parcel.

    The shipping service from the post locker is not yet available.

How to track a parcel

You can track your parcel in the Tracking tab or in the mobile application.

When the parcel arrives at the branch, the recipient will receive a notification via SMS or in the mobile application. If delivery to the address is arranged, the courier will notify the recipient of arrival of the parcel.

*Delivery is carried out throughout the Republic of Moldova, except for Transnistria.
