Send parcels with COD and receive your money after delivery

The Cash on Delivery (COD) service allows individuals to send parcels with payment upon delivery and receive the funds via bank transfer, without the need to sign a contract.

Advantages

  • Place your shipment online in the My Nova Post account, in the Nova Post app, or at a Nova Post branch, without a contract
  • Fee: 2.5% of the COD amount, but not less than 20 MDL; the commission is paid by the recipient
  • Convenient and secure payment upon receiving the parcel: cash or card at a Nova Post branch or to the courier, as well as online in the Nova Post app or in the My Nova Post account
  • We transfer payments to the sender on the next day after delivery, except for non-working days

How to use the COD service for individuals

Online – in the My Nova Post account or in the Nova Post app

  1. Log in to your My Nova Post   account or the Nova Post app
  2. Create a “New shipment” and correctly enter the sender’s and recipient’s details
  3. Select the “Cash on Delivery (COD)” service and specify the amount to be paid by the recipient
  4. Check that all entered data is correct and place the shipment order

Offline – at any Nova Post branch

  1. Visit the nearest Nova Post branch
  2. Inform the operator that you want to send a COD shipment as an individual
  3. Provide the sender’s and recipient’s details, including email, IBAN, and the sender’s IDNP
  4. Check that all entered data is correct and place the shipment order

The service is available only for parcels sended within the Republic of Moldova:

  • to an address, via courier
  • to a Nova Post branch
  • to a Nova Post parcel locker

Mandatory conditions to using the COD service for individuals

When activating the COD service, specify the amount and provide the sender’s details (name, IDNP, IBAN, email). ;

The IDNP and IBAN must belong to you and be entered correctly in order to complete the transfer. The declared value of the shipped goods must be equal to the COD amount.

How to Track Your Shipment

You can track your shipment on the website, in the mobile app Nova Post, or in your My Nova Post account.

The COD service between individuals is provided exclusively according to the procedure described here.

There are no other versions or alternatives of this service.
