4.6 million parcels delivered, 7 new branches, rebranding, and a Notorium Brand Awards win – Nova Post’s results in Moldova for the first half of 2025
In the first half of 2025, Nova Post in Moldova demonstrated stable growth across key performance indicators. The number of processed shipments reached 4.6 million — a 305.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The company also contributed 26.5 million Moldovan lei (approximately 55.7 million UAH) in taxes to Moldova’s state budget.
Nova Post delivers parcels throughout Moldova and beyond. In the first half of the year, the number of domestic shipments exceeded 396,000 — 7.5% more than in 2024. International deliveries grew nearly sixfold, reaching 4.2 million. Most parcels were ordered from China, the USA, Romania, and Ukraine — mainly from platforms like Temu, Joom, Aliexpress, iHerb, Zapatos, Trendyol, and MakeUp.
With growing demand, Nova Post continues to invest actively in infrastructure. In the first half of the year, the company announced a major expansion of its partner network and invited entrepreneurs to join the international Nova group. As a result, seven new branches were opened in the first six months — including three partner locations in Nisporeni, Drochia, and Varnița.
Additionally, Nova Post is the leader in the number of parcel lockers in Moldova and remains the only logistics operator offering deliveries to pickup points. As of July 2025, Nova Post's local network includes 37 branches, 83 pickup points, 260 parcel lockers, and 3 sorting terminals.
A major milestone for the company in the first half of 2025 was its rebranding. Nova Poshta, which has been operating in Moldova for over 10 years, changed its name to Nova Post and began integration into the unified European system of the company, which now operates in 15 European countries.
“We are becoming an integral part of Nova Post’s European network. This will allow us to introduce new services, expand delivery capabilities, and connect Moldova logistically with other countries in Europe and worldwide,” said Serhii Shapran, CEO of Nova Post Moldova.
This year, Nova Post also received recognition from Moldovan consumers, winning the Notorium Brand Awards in the “Postal and Courier Services” category.
Beyond business development, the company also joined community environmental initiatives. Notably, Nova Post became a partner in the Moldovan forest restoration project launched by the Ministry of Environment and JurnalTV. As part of this campaign, the company’s team and volunteers planted thousands of trees across 30 hectares of land.
