Shipments to the EU with IOSS
integration

Shipping to the EU is even easier

An IOSS number (Import One‑Stop Shop) is an identifier for paying VAT when importing goods into the EU. Those sellers who have signed up with the IOSS system can pay VAT in the country of destination instead of buyers. This prevents delays at customs and reduces the cost of transporting goods.

Simplified delivery process

  • The holder of the IOSS number shall pay VAT for the goods
  • Nova Post shall deliver the goods to the recipient with no additional customs fees

Who can apply

  • Sellers in the EU and sellers on European marketplaces (Etsy, Ebay, HandmadeHub, etc.) who pay VAT when selling goods on these platforms
  • Sellers outside the European Union who have self-registered with the IOSS system
  • Sellers outside the EU who request VAT payment services via the IOSS system through affiliated companies (intermediaries, tax and customs advisers, etc.)

Delivery benefits

For sellers

  • Simplified customs formalities
Foreign companies can sell goods to all EU countries, submitting VAT statements only in the country of registration. That makes administrative processes easier and cuts down on bureaucracy.
  • Reduced delivery time
Companies can speed up customs clearance processes, which reduces delivery time and simplifies operational control over the supplies of goods.
  • Lower risks of product returns
Customers are less likely to return goods for reasons of dissatisfaction with the purchase, as they do not incur additional payments when shipping goods and completing customs formalities.
  • Increased competitiveness
This allows companies to attract more customers in the EU by optimizing costs and receiving goods faster.
  • Compliance with the law
This service helps companies avoid potential problems and fines related to tax and customs violations and comply with current EU legislation.
  • Convenience for customers
Customers get their goods faster and free of unexpected expenses, which improves their shopping experience and promotes loyalty.
  • Promotion of international business expansion
Business expansion to EU markets is becoming less expensive and more accessible.
  • Electronic reporting
IThe IOSS number provides an opportunity to submit electronic reports, which simplifies accounting and interaction with tax authorities.

For buyers

  • Accelerated delivery
Customers get their goods faster. Goods can be cleared through customs and delivered to the buyer's address faster thanks to simplified customs formalities and optimization.
  • No additional fees and customs formalities
This prevents additional customs fees and saves time during customs clearance, making the purchase process simple, transparent, and clear.
  • Easy delivery
No extra charges make it possible to deliver the ordered goods in any way convenient for the buyer (to branches, parcel lockers, delivery points, and at the address).
