Send to the EU and the UK is even easier
An IOSS number (Import One‑Stop Shop) is an identifier for paying VAT when importing goods into the EU and the UK. Those sellers who have signed up with the IOSS system can pay VAT in the country of destination instead of buyers. This prevents delays at customs and reduces the cost of transporting goods.
Simplified delivery process
- The holder of the IOSS number shall pay VAT for the goods
- Nova Post shall deliver the goods to the recipient with no additional customs fees
Who can apply
- Sellers in the EU and the UK and sellers on European marketplaces (Etsy, Ebay, HandmadeHub, etc.) who pay VAT when selling goods on these platforms
- Sellers outside the European Union and the UK who have self-registered with the IOSS system
- Sellers outside the EU and the UK who request VAT payment services via the IOSS system through affiliated companies (intermediaries, tax and customs advisers, etc.)
