How does it work
- Defining the payer of logistics services: The Sender must inform the Recipient and obtain consent to pay for logistics services in favor of the Nova Post Group of Companies with the currency of the country of receipt.
- Creating a shipment: The Sender shall create a shipment as usual, specifying all the necessary data for an international shipment.
- Selecting a payer: When registering a shipment, choose the “Payment by the Recipient” option.
- Delivery: Your parcel will be delivered to a branch in the country of the NP's presence.
- Payment: The Recipient shall pay all delivery-related costs in the mobile app or at the branch upon receipt of the parcel.
- Pickup: The Recipient can pick up the parcel at the NP branch.
After customs clearance, the courier will deliver the shipment to your address. You can pay customs duties to the courier by credit card or in cash when you receiving the shipment, without queues and additional steps.

Payment by the Recipient: Worry-free delivery
You, as a Sender, can manage your logistics costs more efficiently by informing and agreeing on the delivery cost with the recipient in advance.
The recipient will receive the details of the parcel and payment charges to the specified email, along with a link to make the payment.
Postal item customs clearance
- Invoiced value of the parcel: up to €45
International parcels with a declared value of up to €45 are not subject to additional customs duties.
Unless the customs authorities determine that the market value of the parcel exceeds €45. In this case, the recipient will be contacted regarding further customs clearance.
- Invoiced value of the parcel: €45–150
- Invoiced value of the parcel: over €150
This may happen if a customs officer finds a violation:
- The postal item content differs from the list indicated in the declaration
- The invoiced value differs from the real value
- The parcel contains a commercial batch: more than 3 identical goods were sent (e.g., 5 watches, 4 pairs of shoes, etc.)
- The parcel contains goods that are not accepted for transportation
- In the last month, the recipient has already received international shipments with a total invoiced value of more than €45
